The IDEC 2026 Annual Conference opens at The Mart with two days of immersive programming designed to spark consequential conversations about the future of interior design education and practice. Attendees will engage in high‑impact sessions on CIDA accreditation, sustainability, and the evolving role of data, AI, and social responsibility, alongside peer‑reviewed paper presentations and collaborative service activities. The Mart becomes a hub for connection as educators, practitioners, and students gather for workshops, mentoring, and a vibrant welcome reception hosted in the Haworth showroom. These opening days set the tone for a conference dedicated to Making Good Design Decisions and preparing the community to shape a more thoughtful, resilient, and innovative design future.
